LANKA LIONS have organised their annual mini-marathon to commemorate
the 60th anniversary of Sri Lanka's Independence.
The event will be held on February 22. It will start at 8:30am at Sheraton end of the Corniche. The day will comprise different categories for children, ladies and men of different groups, and is only open to Sri Lankans.

Khazan Qatar Has opened it's first distribuion depot in Iraq for it's Aqua Cola Brand
of products. The outlet is in Basra city. Soft drinks in cola, lemon, and orange flavours, low-calorie Aqua Cola Light, Soda, mineral water, fruit juices and dry and frozen products are part of Khazan Qatar's range.
It is an affillate of Mezzan Holding of Kuwait, a leading company in the Middle East in fields of trade, industry and foodstuff. "We have found that success in Iraq market will have positive impacts on the company" Khazan Qatar General Manager said.
